The Proline Difference

Engineered to Australian Standards, finished to suit your space.

Balustrading is often the last piece of the puzzle, but it matters just as much as the structure it’s attached to, both for safety and for how the finished space looks.
We install glass, timber, aluminium and stainless-steel balustrading, engineered to the height and load requirements set out in the National Construction Code, with glass balustrades specified to Australian Standards.
Whether it’s part of a new build or added to an existing structure, balustrading gets the same attention to detail as every other part of your project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about
balustrading.

Still curious about how the process works or what it costs to get started? Here’s what most homeowners, builders and developers want to know first. Can’t find it here — just ask us directly.

We install glass, timber, aluminium and stainless-steel balustrading, matched to your deck, pool area or patio style.

Often, yes. Elevated decks and pool areas have height and safety requirements under the National Construction Code and AS 1926.1 pool safety barrier rules, and we build to meet these.

Yes, we can retrofit balustrading to an existing deck, patio, not just as part of a new build.

It depends on the application. Australian Standards allows toughened glass in some framed, handrail installations, but frameless glass balustrades and most fall heights over one metre call for toughened laminated glass, since it stays intact as a barrier if it breaks. We’ll specify the right glass for your project.
